As a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology (male/female/other)
During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to process thermoplastic semi-finished products. In the "components" specialisation you will manufacture pipeline parts and systems, components, and assemblies. In addition to manufacturing these components, you will also repair them. These components are then used by companies to transport environmentally hazardous substances and acids.
Q: Will I be taken on after the apprenticeship?
A: Every apprentice has the chance of being taken on after their training. We are very interested in taking on our own trainees later, because they are already well acquainted with the company and the processes.
Q: How long does the apprenticeship take?
A: As a rule, the training lasts 36 months. Shortening the training is possible in principle, provided that all requirements are met.
Q: What school certificates do I need for the apprenticeship?
A: A qualifying secondary school leaving certificate is required for training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology (male/female/other).
Q: Where does the apprenticeship take place?
A: The training takes place in the company and at the vocational college Werther Brücke on Bachstraße 17 in 42275 Wuppertal
